Tequesta I

From the Artist: Horst Kohlem

“Tequesta 1 is named after a Native American tribe that occupied an area along the Atlantic coast of Florida. The sculpture is made out of a metal frame structure within a V-shaped holder that symbolizes the crossed harpoons in which a barracuda-like form made from an airplane propeller, projects upward towards the sky and the Gods.’
